Hi,
I use eclipse 3.1, wtp0.7, JBoss3.2.5, JBoss4.0.2
I miss a serverdefinition file for this JBoss versions and I miss (or I
don't see it) an easy way to configure some new files.
In the plugin "org.eclipse.jst.server.generic.serverdefinitions_0.7.0" are
the serverdefinition file for JBoss 3.2.3, weblogic,... But I need a
serverdefinition file for JBoss 3.2.5 and JBoss 4.x and of course JBoss
5.x in the future. At the moment, I write a plugin, that include
serverdefinition files for JBoss 3.2.5 and 4.x. But that's not the
solution. Because I don't know, if the definition files are correctly and
I haven't got the time in the company for configuration this files in the
future.
Does exist an easier way to develop new server definition files?
What is the plan from wtp? Do you provide more serverdefinition files or
not? Of course, you can't provide every file, but I need an easy way to
extend other serverdefinition files, do you have this way or is it in plan?
Thanks!
Pascal

Hi Pascal,
there are some server definitions for JBoss 4.0.x in this group.
Take a look at the thread "JBoss 4.0.3 definitions" opened by Sjgjan Srepfler on
2005-07-11. You will find two versions (one at http://www.davedunkin.com/, the
other one here:
http://www.informatik.fh-wiesbaden.de/~knauf/SWTVertiefung20 05/jboss/allgemein/org.jboss.ide.eclipse.serverdefinitions_0 .7.0.jar).
With Dave's version I had some problems, so I built another plugin based on his
work.
Hope this helps
