Can eclipse launch configuration file be saved in a directory outside of workspace? [message #994464]

My source code is located outside of eclipse workspace directory. And I hope to save the project associated launch configuration files in my source code folder. But I can't achieve it. Eclipse always report wrong directory to save launch configuration file when I try input the directory that outside of workspace.
