I'm trying to clone Scout RT from GitHub:
https://github.com/eclipse/scout.rt.git

and I'm getting errors on

Project build error: Non-resolvable parent POM for org.eclipse.scout.rt:eclipse.scout.rt:3.9.0-SNAPSHOT: Could not find artifact org.eclipse.scout:org.eclipse.scout.parent:pom:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT and 'parent.relativePath' points at wrong local POM

It seems 'org.eclipse.scout.parent' is required as well...

Any hints?

By adding the file manually Scout RT seems to compile.
But I do not think this is the recommended way Wink

If someone gives me some hints, I would be glad to add this to the Contribution Guide

Hi Adrian

Thanks for the input. Yes, it is an open task to write the contribution guide for cloning/working with/building the Scout Sources.
I wasn't aware of your problem. But this shouldn't be a problem which has to be commented in the guide. The missing POM needs to be downloadable somewhere and this somewhere must be defined in the parent POM of the RT and SDK sources.

If you could open a bugzilla for this issue I would be more than happy.
