Eclipse 4.2 Garbled Text while scrolling [message #990846]

Dear all,

I work on ubuntu 10.04 on a quad-code 8GB RAM,
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT, and two DVI monitors.
I use eclipse Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers
Build id: 20120920-0800

and I'm experience garbled text whenever I scroll horizontally any box,
index.php/fa/12719/0/

I've done the follow:
1. add -Dconsole.encoding=UTF8 in eclipse.in
2. force UTF-8 in the preferences
3. tried both JRF 1.7.0 and 1.6.0_38

none of these worked.
Do you have any idea?
