How do we make progress in this project? There are several ad-hoc
requirements in the previous postings that need to be organized so we
can reach consensus on these. I am new to open source development, how
does that work??
Kind regards,
Peter Kriens

Dave's comments align with the intent here. As the maintainer for this
project I have been putting gathering items from the discussions in this
newsgroup and trying to make sense of them. Over the next week or so the
Equinox website will gain more content talking about the way Eclipse works
now as well as where we want to go. My intention is for this direction to
be fluid enough to handle things we discover but concrete enough for people
to understand where their interests lie and how they want to get involved.
I strongly encourage others to get involved in this process. In the end
Equinox will do things that a) fit in the scope of the project and b) have
interested parties willing to do the work.
