Hi all,
I need to start the regular workbench application (org.eclipse.ui.ide.workbench) from the OSGi console (3.8)
The set of plugins I have are complete since I'm able to see org.eclipse.ui.ide.workbench in the list returned by 'apps' command.
But starting this application with startApp throws an ApplicationException : The main thread is not available to launch the application: org.eclipse.ui.ide.workbench.0.
I understand some applications can be launched in the main thread, other can't.
But, what is the purpose of that?
Is there a way to launch the workbench application from the OSGi console?
Another question: Is it still impossible to have two workbench in a single osgi instance? Is there a workaround?
