I have eclipse configured to automatically remove white spaces in my javascript files (both trailing and empty line). I did this under: Window->Preferences->JavaScript->Editor->Save Actions->Additional Actions->Configure->Code Organizing.

However when I save a .js file, trailing white spaces are removed nor are spaces removed from empty lines.

This is with eclipse version 4.2.1.M20120914-1800 on windows 7.

Here are 2 screenshots:

I have always used this plug-in to accomplish that:

Save Actions only apply to .js files in a JavaScript Source Folder.
