I am looking for (remote) contract work around Eclipse, modeling or software development in general.
I can work independently or work collaboratively in a team. I have more than a decade of experience in software, from system level software to tools to business apps. So far, it has been mostly on the Java platform (Eclipse RCP or server-side, Eclipse UML2, OSGi, Groovy, Grails, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC), but also REST and TDD. I would consider other environments if learning on the job is an option.
Projects I worked on include the Eclipse Platform Core (including the refactor to OSGi), and IBM Jazz Source Control client. I also developed (in my own time) Eclipse-based modeling tools, such as TextUML Toolkit, AlphaSimple and Cloudfier.
I am a Canadian citizen and am based in Victoria (GMT-8). Here is my resume:
