Hi,
as far as I can see, there is no interface MBasicPackage. I assume this
has been removed on purpose to not expose the Package. Is there a
specific reason for this? It is currently used at several places, but
without using the interface.

We don't export EMF-APIs in your domain model, I was against this but
others in the team wanted to hide EMF completely which IMHO makes not
really sense but that's the way it is.
