Hi,

Cannot install Clay 1.0.4 in Eclipse 3.0 because of the following error:
Clay Database Modeling Core Edition (1.0.4) requires plugin
"org.apache.xerces". This is a configuration problem.
To fix this, open your
${eclipse}/features/jp.azzurri.clay.core_1.0.4/feature.xml in a text editor,
and remove from the "requires" section the following line:
<import plugin="org.apache.xerces"/>Paul"Ichbin" <weconsultants@epix.net>

The workaround works for me. I downloaded the core zip
"jp.azzurri.clay.core_1.0.4.bin.dist.20040524.zip", unzipped it and removed
the line in the feature.xml. After that I started eclipse and enabled the
plugin in "Manage configuration..".
After this I can use this plug-in.
That"s all.

Maybe the Pro version, but I suppose not.

Well I know it is installed and enabled correctly because now it has it's
icon is on the about panel. When I click it I see the plug-in information
for Clay. I guess because I am running Eclipse 3.0.0. Build 20040619200 and
the Clay version 1.0.4 still only supports Eclipse versions 2.1.1/2.1.2.
What version of Eclipse re you running? If you are running the 3.0.0
version how do you invoke it if it does not have a perspective?

I just followed the QuickStart Guide

step with the The Database Model Graphical Editor.
