What is the impact of web 2.0 on search engines like Google, Bing and etc? Can you make sure your pages are found for things like products and services that potential customers may be searching for?

I believe Google's answer to the problem can be found here - https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/

I only skimmed their solution, but it seems interesting.
