Senior Member
RPC Software (http://www.rpcsoftware.com), the first company to ship a
commercial Eclipse RPC application, is looking for Eclipse RCP and web
developers to help expand its ERP application for the contract furnature
business.

Both entry and mid-level RCP developers are desired. We prefer
developers located in the Chicago area, but if the right person contacts
us and lives elsewhere, we can work with you too.

Mid-level developer--required experience:

* Have commercially-deployed (in-house okay) one or more Eclipse plug-ins.
* Have experience developing rich client applications using any toolkit
(SWT, Swing, GTK, QT, Win32/GDI, .NET, etc.).
* Be fluent with most design patterns used in the Eclipse APIs.
* Have 5 years of professional Java development experience.

Mid-level developer--preferred experience:

* Experience working with and contributing to open source projects.
* MySQL, Tomcat, Apache, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
* User interface design and human factors engineering.


Entry-level developer--required experience:

* 3 years of Java development experience.
* Know general design patterns, especially the Gang-of-four patterns.
* Know SQL databases in general, MySQL preferred.
* Know at least one Java web framework well.

Entry-level developer--preferred experience:

* Tomcat, PHP, Apache, Linux
* Some experience developing rich user interfaces using any toolkit
(SWT, Swing, GTK, QT, Win32/GDI, .NET, etc.).
