Hi everyone
My name is Oleg, i'm from St. Petersburg.
I am going to write visual compare of .bpel files
I am using http://www.eclipse.org/bpel/ and Eclipse 3.4.1
There are two major steps to do this task:
1. Compute difference of .bpel files.
2. Display result in a friendly manner.
The task I want to do is very close to this bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=241385
http://literate.modeling.free.fr/modeling/compare/GMFCompare Ecoredi.htm
but I need to compare .bpel :)
I know EMF compare can do the first step, and I've to do the second.
I already have one suggestion how this can be done
but I'm sorry I don't understand it completely...

I don't understand which particles are involved here...
Should I write my own plugin and use installed version of
bpel plugin and EMF compare?
Or I should use installed version of BPEL plugin and 'hack'
EMF Compare?
Or the last one - use installed version of EMF Comapre and
hack BPEL plugin? :)
Another big question for me - how can I use results of
http://gmfdiff.sourceforge.net/ in my task.
Should I use (call) gmfdiff or should I write something like gmfdiff?
Sorry if some of my questions are stupid I hope they are at least
easy to answer then :)
I'm just trying to understand how all the things I'm going
to use are connected...
Thanks,
Oleg
