Hi,

MyModel#getAdapter(...) will not be called if I embedded the MyEditorPart
in a MultiPageEditorPart.

My model implements the 'IAdaptable' interface.

The method MyModel#getAdapter(Class type) will be called if I
create the editor direct (not as page of an MultiPageEditorPart)

....why?

any solution for a MultiPageEditorPart/PropertySheet combination.

Thanks and greetings

Andreas

Are you talking about the propertysheet page?
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=46207

Basically, the multipage editor must provide a single propertysheet page
which is smart enough to work with each of the pages. Often the page ends
up acting like the view itself, meaning the page has pages.

I have researched the 'network-editor' example and I can't found a
spezial implementation of the propertysheet.

Is the spezial implementation a part of the EMF-Framework?

Is there an example to implement the spezial propertysheet for the
multipage editor?

Greetings and thanks for the answer.

The propertysheet operates off of *both* the selection service and the
active part. Some multi-page applications can reuse a single page for each
of their editor's pages. Maybe you can too, so implement getAdapter() on
the multipageeditor and try it.
