Is there a document that outlines how to add a CheckboxGroup in VE so that the Checkbox components show in the Design view?

I can add a CheckboxGroup by hand in the Source view and I can put Checkboxes in it and they work but the Checkboxes disappear from in the Design view and the CheckboxGroup sits off to one side of my applet.

What do I need to do to make the CheckboxGroup visually part of the Design view of my applet?

Where's the documentation on how to deal with CheckboxGroups in VE???
