Not automatically add new files [message #12282] Mon, 21 January 2008 13:15 Go to next message

Hello,

I have used the svn command-line client for a long time, and I am quite
happy with it. I have just started using eclipse (instead of plain emacs)
for code development and would like to use the subversive plugin.

I have downloaded and installed the plugin, and also checked out my
project. So far - no problems. However, when committing my changes
svn/subversive wants to check in "everything" in the directory, and I have
to manually tick off the files which should not be under version control.
Alternatively I have to add the svn:ignore property for all files which
should not be under version control.

Is it possible to get the behaviour of the command-line client, i.e. that
only resources explicitly placed under version control are suggested for
check in?

Best Regards

Joakim Hove

[ Unfortunately I am stuck with eclipse 3.2 and the version of subversiove
found on www.polarion.org.]

Dear Joakim,

If you won't to commit new files please switch off corresponding option in
the plug-in preferences at:
Window->Preferences->Team->SVN->Check the new resources in the commit dialog
