Hello!

I have discovered that Eclipse will get slower and slower while heavily editing longer Xtext files (my grammar file is around 400 lines long) and looking at the Syntax Graph. The problem usually appears after a some minutes or even hours. Eclipse will freeze in regular intervals for few seconds and a restart will fix it.

This issue occurs since more than one year (when I started using Xtext) and still exists in Juno and Xtext 2.3.1. It happens on Windows 7 and Ubuntu (different PC) alike - even with fresh installations of everything.

Is this a known issue or are we doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help!
Regards,

B.

Strongly suspect this is a known issue in Juno. Try it with Eclipse 3.8
and see if it has the same behavior...
