Hello all,

what's the best way to setting up a build & debug environment for ve? Not
an application built with ve but ve itself.

What I did so far is checking out ve-all. Are there any instructions
inside for setting up the environment?

Michael

If I just run the platform with only the ve plugins from ve-all (HEAD) the
product configuration marks ve with a red sign. If I look at the
properties and click on status I get:
--------------------
Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve" version "1.2.0.v20060518_RC1" referenced by this
feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.cde" version "1.2.0.v20060518_RC1" referenced by
this feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.java.core" version "1.2.0.v20060620_RC3"
referenced by this feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.jfc" version "1.2.0.v20060620_RC3" referenced by
this feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.propertysheet" version "1.2.0.v20060518_RC1"
referenced by this feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.doc" version "1.2.0.v20060518_RC1" referenced by
this feature is missing.

Plug-in "org.eclipse.ve.swt" version "1.2.0.v20060628" referenced by this
feature is missing.

Included feature "Java EMF Model" version "1.2.0.v20060530_RC2--ZasJzJJez"
contains problems.
--------------------

According to the version information I got v1.2.1.v20060817

There was some old stuff cached. I started setting up a new environment.
But any hints would be helpful.

What I have so far is Eclipse SDK 3.3M2
updates from:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/emf/updates/site-interim.x ml
and from:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/update-site/integratio ns/site.xml

ve-all checked out from the repository.

Looks promising so far.
