Hi,

first i hope that I am posting to the correct newsgroup.
I have updated eclipse after which I could not modify the visual classes I
had developed in a project through the visual editor.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Charlie,

The classes won't open in the VE, or they're not displayed correctly in
the VE? What version of Eclipse did you install, and did you install to
a clean directory? The recommended way to install is to install Eclipse
3.2 to a clean directory, then use the Update Manager to install VE
(from the Callisto Discovery site). If you're just having trouble
opening classes, right click on them and select Open With->Visual Editor.

Hope this helps,
- Jeff

What I did was to use the Update Manager to find stuff and updated V
3.1...from this point onwards the visual editor component disappeared.

Charlie,

Check the .log file in your workspace's .metadata directory for errors.
Probably the best thing for you to do to resolve this issue would be to
install Eclipse 3.2 and use the update manager to install VE.

Hope this helps,
- Jeff
