Is it possible to migrate Participants of deployed models with running process.
In my case the Participants are mapped to roles which are hold in an Active Directory

I have eg. The following users with roles:
- patrick: Developer, Sysadmin
- florian: Developer, Projectmanager

In my model there are the Participants:
- Developer, Sysadmin, Projectmanager

In my Audittrail, there are already Models deployed and Process Instances with these Participants.

The case is now, that we need to change the whole role-model in the Active Directory and thus renaming and also reassigning the roles in the Process Models.

What is the best way to do this?

Florian,

the model participant to user link is synchronized per process model version. That means for a new model version you can change the role assignment without affecting previously started process instances.
