Could somebody explain why the result from a headless PDE Build that uses
the p2 generator property, and runs the director, ends up building a product
that, when you look at Help/About shows full versions for features/plug-ins
(where the .qualifier was replaced) but in the P2 UI shows literally
".qualifier" ?

Is PDE running some P2 tasks before the .qualifier has been replaced?

Also, the P2 director is invoked without the version argument (so it picks
up the latest (only!) version, I suppose).

Thank you!

Adding some information:

the .product file version reads "1.2.3.qualifier" ; I used to not even set
the version in that file, but decided to start doing so. Does PDE not update
that .qualifier?
