Hi Christian,
Originally that tree was supposed to be a separate view in which a person
can see what exactly is being stored in the secure storage and modify it
directly. However, some people objected to it with various arguments. As a
result a chunk of the functionality was removed before the 3.4 release. I
left some pieces as debug-only as (1) I think they are useful to developers,
and (2) I hoped to revisit this in 3.5 and revive that "digital wallet"
view.
At this point I am not sure when I'll have time to do it. However, if you'd
like to get familiar with this area and provide patches, I certainly will be
happy to help.
Sincerely,
Oleg Besedin

Great, thank you! That would be absolutely wonderful. I added a few points
to the bug learned from the 3.4 development cycle.
As for getting this into 3.5, that depends. According to the Eclipse
Foundation's policy, all sizable contributions from non-committers have to
go through IP approval process. It is usually painless, except that the
deadline for 3.5 for this was around January 30th. The other deadline is
3.5M6 (coming in about 3 weeks) - the iterations after M6 are usually
reserved for bug fixes, polish, and performance. So, I don't want to say it
is impossible, but it will be rather hard to get it into 3.5.
Sincerely,
Oleg Besedin
