Vitaliy,

This is purely a GMF question that is best asked it on the GMF
newsgroup, which I've added to the "to" list in this reply.

Vitaliy,

Currently in GMF you can select two editparts with the CTRL key pressed
and then double-click the palette tool to create a connection.

Hi,

First of all, I would like to wish a happy new year to all !

I just note that a similar request was asked through this thread, so
here is just a link to the related issue on the bugzilla I opened a few
months ago : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=206753

Any chance for that to be implemented/discussed ? I am convinced that
GMF should propose a "mode" for connections creation because users may
be familiar with one or the other way, not both. The best example I
could provide is from my own case : I am still making too much "self
references" because of I am used to create a connection in two steps !
But I believe many others are facing the similar problem ...

Otherwise, I didn't know that we could create a connection by double
clicking on a palette entry while two elements where selected : GMF has
plenty of hidden features ! :-)

Regards,
Jacques
