Creat a new project, then open project properties->java Build Path->Libraries tab page.If add swt.jar via 'Add JARs' or 'Add External JARs',the SWT controls would NOT be parsed correctly, which means invisible in the VE editor. If add swt.jar via 'Add Library'->SWT,then it works fine.

It only takes some inconvienence for me,not so serious a bug.

You mustn't add SWT.jar itself. You need to use the SWT Library
Container. That is how it works.

Thank you for the prompt answer.Could you give me more comments on the 'Library Container'?A link is also helpful. But if it's a complex concept, just forget it.

Right click on your porject, select "Build Path" -> "Configure Build Path"
in the popup menu, then, in "Java Build Path" dialog you'd select
"Libaraies" tab, and click "Add Library" button, afterward you'd select
"Standard Widget Toolkit (SWT)" libaray.
