Allow ALL should resolve the problem. However, the net value of the Allow
element must be the address of the machine launching the test.

Are you sure there are no firewalls running on either machine? If wither
have firewalls running, can you turn them off to test the connection:

Window >> Preferences >> Profiling and Logging >> Hosts

Otherwise, this appears to be a bug. What version of TPTP are you using?

hi,
i had tried with the new release of TPTP 4.4.1 as given in the following
link

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/?ver=4.4.1

when i am tring to execute remotely on a machine the following error
dialogue appeared

IWAT4039E The Test Execution Harness reported the following
problems:org.eclipse.hyades.internal.execution.local.control .InactiveProcessException

i have tested the connection by navigating through
Window >> Preferences >> Profiling and Logging >> Hosts
the test connection was sucess

Is All in one package available for solaris. As all-in-one package for
solaris is not present, iam using remote agent testing on a windows/linux
machine.but remote testing has reported the above problem.
even by downloading and using sparc for solaris aslo didn't solved the
problem

i request a good soution for my problem.

thanks,
gopi

We are improving:) Now, your test is being executed on the remote machine
but there was an issue with the execution. What kind of test is it?

There is 4.4+ no distribution for Solaris. You would need to use a
newer workbench on Windows/Linux and the 4.3 Agent Controller on Solaris.
