Adding custom code to visual classes [message #124472] Tue, 09 May 2006 14:23 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

How can I programatically insert custom code into the class I am editing
in the Visual Editor?

Background:

I am trying to extend the VE to connect to a data binding framework. It
work something like this:

1) Right click on a control
2) Select 'Bind to Data' option
3) Show a dialog for selecting the data source and data elements to bind
4) Insert custom code into the edited class that binds the control to the
data elements selected in #3.

Thanks!

I'm interested in this same behavior. Any followup on this?
