update sites not found by 4.2 [message #909601]

Hi!

I'm not sure this is the right place to report, but I have a machine where 4.2 can't see for example the Xtext update site at http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/updates/composite/releases. It says "no update site found" and no other error in the logs. Other update sites work as expected.

3.8 and 3.7 see the update site all right from that machine, as is 4.2 from a different machine.

Any ideas about what could be wrong?
