I noticed a couple of references to what might be a RAP UI client for the marketplace API, presumably to install into the underlying OSGi container;
http://www.eclipsecon.org/europe2011/category/tags/marketplace

Did that get any further or am I misreading what was being suggested there...
"Simply install apps into your runtime either by using the Equinox OSGi console, an HTTP API or via a RAP based UI provided by the EclipseRT Marketplace Client."

Thanks
Tom

Interesting, it looks somewhat official but the talk was never accepted.

We have a RAP based UI in Gyrex 1.0 that we are currently migrating to a
new workbench-less RAP UI. It is capable of browsing remote p2 repos for
new software to install into a Gyrex cluster.
