I have created a simple composite with a browser control. This seems to work fine. What I would like to do is open a dialog over the browser, so that a user can fill in some fields, while the web page is still visible in the background.
When I create a dialog however, the whole area around the dialog is grayed out (I presume that this is the shell) so that the user only sees the dialog box.

I was wondering if it is at all possible to achieve what I want, and if so, what the best approach is to do so.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
you can control the style of the Shell overlay by theming. See
Shell-DisplayOverlay [1] for more details.
