Hi,

I repost my question from 2012-05-23 because the team has not replied, yet ;-(

The other day I configured the generation of Eclipse-SourceReferences headers with Buckminster.

The current SimRel report (http://build.eclipse.org/juno/simrel/reporeports/reports/esdata.txt ) shows:

scm:git:git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/cdo/cdo.git
scm:git:git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/equinox/rt.equinox.bundles.git;path="bundles/org.eclipse.equinox.app";tag=v20111010-1614

The first is generated by Buckminster. I wonder if the path attribute could/should be generated, too?

Cheers
/Eike

Hi Thomas,

Now I'm asking you directly because I see that you find time to answer other questions here.
Is my question so silly that it's not even worth to tell me that or why am I being ignored on this list?

Cheers
/Eike

Hi Eike,

I'm sorry if you're feeling ignored. Believe me, that's not my (nor anyone else's) intention. In order to answer your
question, some of us would need to do some investigation on the topic. Nobody has had any time to do that yet.

Perhaps if you did some investigation of your own around the Eclipse-SourceReferences and came up with an answer? Then,
if Buckminster isn't doing the right thing, you could enter a bugzilla where you tell us what it ought to do. That would
be really helpful.

Thanks,
- thomas

Already forgotten ;-)

Ok, it's not a blocker.

Unfortunately not. As I said, I'm not even sure EGit can handle these SourceReferences already.

I'm rather sure that some important information is missing from the URLs Bucky has generated. I hope that I eventually
find some time to try EGit again with a proper URL...

Cheers
