Hi,

I took the new Juno Automotive Project for C Development. When I enable the Indexer, Eclipse becomes very slow and sometimes freeze totally. This is encouraged by othe Java based tools. Sometimes the message is shown, that a heap overrun occured and Eclipse should be shut down - what doesn't work sometimes. Disabling the Indexer solves this problem. Even the heap view shows, that with Indexer the heap is at 480M of 500M, whithout somewhere at 50M of 140M.
I have a WinXP 32bit machine with 4GB RAM, I guess, that's the problem. Is it possible to limit the heap size for the indexer. It may work slower, but it mustn't freeze my IDE.

Regards, Christian

PS: With Indigo I didn't have this problem.
