I have today installed Eclipse Indigo for C++ development, on MS-Vista machine.

I have Microsoft C++ 2008 express compiler.

The installation reported no errors and I tried the Eclipse tutorial to create the standard "Hello World" project.
This compiled ok, but a linker error LNK1104 "Cannot find kernel32.lib"

OK I do have this file in the standard Microsoft Path ... but if the Eclipse linker fails on this standard file, i suspect that some extra settings are required.

MS C++ 2008 used stand alone (no eclipse) works fine ...

Please advise how to resolve this.

Thanks

Jefe
