I am new to eclipse and created a few projects.
I have been able to open and close eclipse and the projects are there.
I just opened eclipse again and I got an error about not being able to read the workspace.
My only choice was to say OK.
Now I have no projects open and if I go to the main menu "Project", "OPen Project" is grayed out.
How do I open the past projects?

Unless you changed the location of your workspace, or the default location of your projects folder, they should be there.

Could you provide any more info please? Such as OS, etc.

Open/Close only deal with projects that are already defined in your workspace. You will have to import/create the projects again to get them back.

If your workspace is in the same location as the old one and if the projects are stored in their default location (in the workspace), then I believe you have to use the New Project Wizard to recreate them. Give them the same name as they had before. Eclipse should see them in the file system and add them to the workspace.

If the workspace is in a different location, you can import them from the old location.

In either case, you might want to backup your workspace directory before attempting either of these.

Thanks David, that worked, just used the old names and they were reloaded.

You just have to think about it: there are many ways you can communicate
a link that will pass the 25 post prerequisite.

I suppose it's easier to post 15 messages than it is to type hxxp://
