Hi XText Friends,

I am new in the field of Xtext. I have an existing Xtext Grammar but I can not find an option to view the ecore model/diagram of this existing grammar. I am very grateful if you can help me!.

Greetings

Hi,
welcome to Xtext.

(1) create a new Xtext Project using the wizard.
(2) replace the grammar with yours
(3) run the language workflow

you find the generated ecore in the src-gen folder (within a subpackage)
btw: doing some Xtext tutorial first might be helpful.

~Christian

Hi it is possible to have a manually maintained metamodel. This seems to be the case in your case. In the header of the Xtext file you can find a hint where to search the ecore

Hi,

you can install ecore tools, and create a new diagram and use the ecore as initial content
