Background is, that he can change and distribute this information very simple and fast via Active Directory. Therefore I want to know if it is possible to set the configuration area programmatically? Thanks for your response. But I think I can not do it like you told me: I need to set that dynamically before launching my rcp - app. What´s your understanding of "Custom launcher"? For me a custom launcher is a custom configuration of launch arguments in my ECLIPSE IDE to start my rcp - app. In that context I have no chance to integrate programmatically. (e.g. reading the Windows registry) Or may be I have?
For the moment it seems to me that the only way to handle my aims is to start a script that reads the Windows registry, then sets the .ini-file and finally calls my rcp-app-.exe.
