Hello All:

No matter what way I approach updating Indigo or installing a plug-in EPIC or Hibernate Tools I get the following:

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software currently installed: Shared profile 1.0.0.1337623777569 (SharedProfile_epp.package.java 1.0.0.1337623777569)
Missing requirement: Shared profile 1.0.0.1337623777569 (SharedProfile_epp.package.java 1.0.0.1337623777569) requires 'SharedProfile_epp.package.java [1.0.0.1337605225165]' but it could not be found

Can anybody give me a hint as to what this means?

your kind assistance is requested.

KD

Searching for similar problems, this appears to be most often related to
permissions on the eclipse folder. Suggestions on the internet suggest
running Eclipse as administrator or changing permissions on the eclipse
instalation folder to allow users all permissions.

If you are running on Windows 7 and have installed under Program Files,
another suggestion would be to install in a different directory.

Hello:

I followed up on your suggestion:

I do not install in "Program Files" , I installed Eclipse-->Indigo in
C:\progfiles\eclipse-indigo\eclipse.

I gave local machine users full right to C:\progfiles\eclipse-indigo
and below. Same error.

Please note I downloaded and installed helios in: C:\progfiles\eclipse-helios.

And run updates and installed EPIC and Hibernate tools no issues.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.
