Afaik the web browser uses the SWT browser widget. At

(url may wrap) there is some information about this widget.

On Windows it uses Internet Explorer, on Linux it uses Firefox or Mozilla.

(Run/Launch...) in Eclipse, it doesn't open the view web browser, but open
Firefox (which is default browser in windows xp).

Is-this a bug ?

Go to options / Internet / Web browser to specify the browser to use.
