Hi,

I want to perform an ATL transformation based on WSDL. For this purpose, I have downloaded the WSDL.ecore but I cannot load an instance of this metamodel. When I try to load a WSDL file I get:

org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.Resource$IOWrappedException: Package with uri 'schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/' (not allowed to post the entire link) not found. (file:///C:/workspace/Trans/IN, 2, 273)
	at org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.impl.XMLLoadImpl.handleErrors(XMLLoadImpl.java:83)
	at org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.impl.XMLLoadImpl.load(XMLLoadImpl.java:191)
	at org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.impl.XMLResourceImpl.doLoad(XMLResourceImpl.java:242)
	at org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.impl.ResourceImpl.load(ResourceImpl.java:1511)
	at org.eclipse.m2m.atl.drivers.emf4atl.EMFModelLoader.loadModel(EMFModelLoader.java:183)

So I added this path to the registry:

EPackage.Registry.INSTANCE.put("schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/", "file:/C:/workspace/Trans/bin/metamodels/WSDL.ecore");

But this does not help. Any ideas?

Regards,

Tex

I expect you need to use the generated WSDL model with all the hand
written logic that allows WSDL's XML syntax to be converted to an EMF
model for WSDL's abstract components. WSDL also has a specialized
resource factory that needs to be used for loading instances.

Hi Tex,

I'm facing a similar problem. You have figured how to fix this error?

Thanks

Hi

I can't be sure about this particular URL, but in the past
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=320417) some web plugins
have contributed stale EMF registrations that can crash genuine EMF
applications; if the applications fail to catch exceptions properly
during paxckage registry loops to fail.

I recommend importing all web projects into your workspace as pluigins
then searching for the offending string. Report a Bugzilla and then
develop a dummy plugin to supply the spurious model.

And/Or customise EMFModelLoader to ignore the bad reference.

Regards

Ed Willink
