Profiling Crashes Eclipse [message #112815] Wed, 19 September 2007 11:15 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Whenever I try to profile my application Eclipse just crashes. This
typically happens before the application actually starts while I'm still
in the profiling setup dialog. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm running Eclipse 3.3.

Cheers, Eric

Eric,

Please provide us with the following information:
- TPTP version
- OS version and architecture
- Java version (use java -version)
- Whether you are using the standalone Agent Controller or the
Integrated Agent Controller (the default, it you didn't install anything
other than the TPTP client package).

Thanks,
Asaf

Hi Eric,
This defect is described in the
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=190699 and
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=201819 and should be
resolved soon.
Right now, as a workaround, you can use Java 1.5 or install your eclipse
in a path without spaces.
Regards,
Igor
