I have used Eclipse for a couple projects in the past, but this is the
first time I am trying to use if for web. I downloaded the WebTools
Platform: Preconfigured Installation 1.0M4. When I go to new >> project
>> under "web" there is only the "Simple Web Project" option. In all the
tutorials it shows a "J2EE Web Project" option there too, how do I get
this option? ~Thanks

Hi Robert
My solution: use Eclipse 3.1RC2 or RC3, wtp wtp-I20050617 integration
build and associated librairies

Hi Robert and Dom.

I created my web project right-clicking on the Dynamic Web Projects in
the Project Explorer view of the J2EE Perspective and selecting J2EE Web
Module (if you cannot see this menu item make sure to have properly
configured the J2EE Perspective in the "New" section). This opens a
wizard where you can specify the name of your web module and the
Flexible Java Project to attach it to.
If I'm not wrong they introduced the Flexible Java Project concept in
the M4 milestone in order to provide a better support for external
source folders and to better manage interdipendencies among projects.

Hope this help.

To be honest, the tutorial you mentioned seems to me outdated and this
is confusing (it confused me).
A question that comes to me is: is the tutorial outdated or the Flexible
Java Project is an "experiment" of the M4 milestone that will be removed
or deeply changed in the future milestones?

Thanks.
