Hi

I am thinking about porting/reimplementing the Equinox framework for the
D programming language. At the moment it is just a crazy idea, but we
will see.

I would want to release the port/reimplementation under the same license
as Equinox is.

My question is
Are there licensing problems with Equinox or OSGi if i would do this?
Can you think of obstacles or restrictions doing this?

Frank

There should not be any restriction. This will be considered as derivative
work and therefore as such you have to follow what the EPL says you need to
do, which is I believe to make the derivative work available publicly.
You should be able to ask this question to legal@eclipse.org
