Theming not applied on Text and Label Font [message #111433] Thu, 06 November 2008 14:18 Go to next message

Hello,

using the latest and greatest vom CVS, it seems that the theme does not set the
Label and Text widget fonts correctly, they default to standard font. The same
theme properties file works as it should against RAP 1.1.1

was there a change in the theme properties file? the "widget.font:" attribute
doesn't seem to apply on Label and Text anymore, the theme.properties in the CVS
Demo Project doesn't show any new attributes.

Greetings,
-Ben

Hello again,

i migrated to a CSS Theme File after reading the RWT Theming article here:
http://help.eclipse.org/ganymede/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclips e.rap.help/help/html/advanced/theming.html

No the fonts are correctly set, again.
I can advice anyone else who also experiences problems with the .properties theme
to change to a CSS file, since the old .properties theming is deprecated anyway.

HTH,
-Ben

Hi Ben,

thanks for reporting this defect. It is fixed in CVS HEAD now.

Anyway you are right, CSS is the way to go. In fact, we plan to
discontinue the properties-theming support in the near future.
But this will be announced separately here.

Best regards,
Ralf
