Hi All

I installed Eclipse 3.1, the J2EE Standard Tools and the WST - Web
Standards Tools but when I open Eclipse and click on new Project the
only thing I can find under Web is "Simple Web Project". Does
anybody now what I have to install that I get the "J2EE Web
Project" in this list.

THX

There is no way to start a new "J2EE Web Project".

Make sure you have installed all of the dependencies for WTP listed
on the download page, and exactly the versions listed. It might be
a simple as having forgotten the JEM dependency.

Try to use the ready made bundle at:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/webtools /downloads/drops/S-1.0M4-200504292037/wtp-eclipse-emf-gef-je m-sdk-1.0M4.zip
Dependencies on WTP are a bit hairy.
M4 will NOT WORK with anything but 3.1M6, as 3.1M7 and above had some
internals performance driven refactorings that did break m4. I did not check
out yet the latests I builds, but it looks like it is getting there.

Or try to use the bundle at http://sf.net/projects/easyeclipse (older 3.1m4
on wtp1.0M2 but working ok)

I'm having the same problem. Did you (or anybody else) find the solution?
I installed the whole wtp-eclipse-emf-gef-jem-sdk-1.0M4.zip (md5)
