Hi,
I´m trying to deploy an application I´m developing with spring and virgo server, but I can´t get the spring security bundles get installed in my Virgo instance.

The error I get when I try to deploy my app is this:

My app doesnt have too much.

My applicationContext.xml is the one explained in the spring security reference

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans:beans xmlns="://www.springframework.org/schema/security"
    xmlns:beans="://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
    xmlns:xsi="://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="://www.springframework.org/schema/beans
                    ://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd
                    ://www.springframework.org/schema/security
                    ://www.springframework.org/schema/security/spring-security-3.1.xsd">

    <http use-expressions="true">
        <intercept-url pattern="/**" access="permitAll" />
        <form-login />
    </http>

    <authentication-manager>
        <authentication-provider>
            <user-service>
                <user name="rod" password="koala" authorities="supervisor, teller, user" />
                <user name="dianne" password="emu" authorities="teller, user" />
                <user name="scott" password="wombat" authorities="user" />
                <user name="peter" password="opal" authorities="user" />
            </user-service>
        </authentication-provider>
    </authentication-manager>
</beans:beans>

I think the problem is in my instaled bundles, I copied the security files in the usr directory but the OSGI state in the web manager doesn´t show them.

I´m using the 3.0.5.RELEASE version of spring, and the 3.0.4.RELEASE version of spring security.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced. If more info is needed please let me know.

Hi,

One obvious thing is that you specify www.springframework.org/schema/security/spring-security-3.1.xsd

But use 3.0.4.RELEASE version of spring security.

I don't think that 3.0.4 version provide 3.1 schema or?

Regards
Violeta

No, that was not the problem. Thanks anyway.
I´m using bnd through maven to generate the manifest files. Whenever bnd has to resolve an import thats not decleared in a .java file... well, just can´t. Needed to add the import under maven-bundle-plugin configuration.

¿Is there a way to automate this?

I'm running into the same problem - what imports need to be added?

Many thanks,

Chris

Sorry, I dont know why I´m not recieving mail notifications.
¿Did you solve this? You need to import the package where the namespace of spring security is, org.springframework.security.config, I think.
