Hello everybody.

I am attempting to record a very simple test under Linux, but without
success.

All I am trying to do is to start a test in the Resource perspective and
create a simple project. The New wizard comes up but acts, to all
intents and purposes, as if it was frozen. I cannot use the scroller in
the dialog, nor can I open/close/select/double click on any element in
the dialog's tree.

I am using RHEL 5 on a 64 bit machine with TPTP/AGR 4.4.0 and the
integrated Agent Controller. From looking at the documentation at
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/project_info/releaseinfo/4. 4/support.html#Workbench,
I know this is not one of the configurations on which you currently have
successful tests, but I am wondering if anybody could provide a pointer
to a possible way forward with this.

TIA,
B.

Hi Barbara,
This type of recording is a standard test we execute during each test
pass on both Windows and Linux
( http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/project_info/releaseinfo/4. 4/support.html).
As such, this may be related to newer OS version or 64 architecture.
Unfortunately, we do not have pointers to resolve this symptom. Please open
a bugzilla against the TPTP Testing product and Test.UI.AutoGUIUI component.
However, we will not be able to have this fixed until 4.5.
