Hello
Is it possible to configure the name and location of default eclipse log file?
We would like to have a single log file for our RCP app, so that in the event of a problem, we can ask a user to look in or send us just one file.

If the location {workspace}/.metadata/.log is hard-wired into Eclipse, is it possible for log4j to share that file with eclipse?

[edited: I just found that eclipse logged a stack trace for a null prt exception, after entries written at startup by log4j. So, it would seem that we can work using .log if we can't change its name or location.]

Regards, John
