Greetings,

The Babel team has rolled out a couple of new features to the Web-based
translation tool at http://babel.eclipse.org :

Top Translators list
====================

The top-10 translators now appear on the home page. The Eclipse Genie,
leading the list with about 1.45 million translations, is our import wizard.

Multiple hits with one save
===========================

Each time you save a translation, the system now translates exact
matches of the English string, across all Babel-enabled projects, which
have currently never been translated. This is useful for translating
strings like 'True', 'False', 'Cancel' and the like. The match is case
sensitive, so translating 'True' will not change occurrences of 'true'.

The Babel team is working hard to produce tools and, above all, Language
Packs that you can download and use. But we need your help:

- help spread the word. Talk about Babel on Eclipse newsgroups, local
user groups, coworkers and friends who use Eclipse in non-English languages.

- help translate. All you need is a Bugzilla account, and good
knowledge of English and another language.

- help code. If you know PHP and SQL, you can help us make the tools better.
