Hi all,

I'm experiencing errors while importing a target definition with
Buckminster (probably it's more a PDE problem, i'm not sure yet). If
have a target definition file that contains a plug-in which has an
install action that creates a directory in the eclipse installation
directory (called "licenses", see below). Creating this directory fails,
when the features is installed into the target definition:

INFO: importtargetdefinition 'Professional_1.0.0.target'
Unable to load all units for Software Site container of target
Professional_1.0.0.target
[0]An error occurred while installing the items
[0.2]session context
was:(profile=TARGET_DEFINITION:resource:Professional_1.0.0.target,
phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Install,
operand=null --> com.knime.licenses 4.1.0.0032568,
action=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.touchpoint.natives.actions.MkdirAction).
[0.2]Could not create directory
..../ws/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.pde.core/.install_folders/1334072366393/licenses.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Cheers,

Thorsten

I guess file permissions are fine, ie. you could create the directory by hand?

Can you post the instructions used to publish action that creates the
directory? (Is it being executed in the correct phase etc...)?
