Can't find the Stash commands [message #840857] Tue, 10 April 2012 11:38 Go to next message

Greetings everyone, I know that the newest eGit has stash\apply support. But I cannot find it either on the Git Repository views or the default Syncronize view (I'm using Eclipse PDT with eGit 1.3.0), also the wiki is not updated with that info, can anyone give me some directions.

Ah ok, I thought it was on the main branch. So, a quick question. How stable are the nightlys and how easy can you go back to the 1.3.0 ? it is just a matter of uninstalling and reinstalling? Also where can I find a list of what else has been added to the 2.0 branch? One of the features that have given me nightmares recently is the lack of gitattributes support.

The nightlies are usually very stable but regressions do occur and sometimes new bugs are introduced. It should be relatively simple to downgrade back to 1.3 from the Eclipse update manager.

You can see what has changed since 1.3 here: https://github.com/eclipse/egit/compare/stable-1.3...master

Thank you kevin. I will install the nightly on my backup computer and test on a personal project just to be sure. Then I shall use it on my main computer. Thank you for a great plugin. Also, if I can take the time to ask a separate question,is there any ETA on .gitattributes support?
