Single source nebula components for rap and rcp [message #840757]

Hello,

If a Nebula component can be single sourced (I mean common code can both works with RCP and RAP),Can I create a bug (with a patch attached) directly against Nebula ? or do I need to share the contribution with RAP team ?

No you only have to provide a patch to Nebula assuming your change does
only use public API

thanks for the reply.

And for components with more complex single sourcing, when code cannot be common, but can be organized like described in single sourcing guide from eclipse source (a common bundle, and RAP and RCP fragments), is it also possible to provide patch for this kind of code refactoring ?

Hi Arnaud,

Yes. We would always prefer RAP stuff in fragments, rather then doing the
optional dependency trick.
